Mélange en honneur de mon directeur de thèse
J'ai appris aujourd'hui avec beaucoup de joie la publication d'un ouvrage en honneur du Professeur Andrew T. Lincoln, qui fut mon directeur de thèse à l'Université de Gloucestershire.
Andrew T. Lincoln est bien connu des spécialistes du Nouveau Testament, notamment pour ses travaux sur les épîtres de Paul (un commentaire magistral sur Éphésiens dans la série Word Biblical Commentary, en particulier) et sur l'Évangile selon Jean (une étude sur la notion de procès dans cet évangile, et un excellent commentaire dans la série Black's New Testament Commentary).
Dernièrement, il a aussi publié une étude fascinante sur la naissance virginale de Jésus, qui a fait beaucoup de bruit. De plus, il apparaît dans un livre de témoignages de différents exégètes, Intitulé I (Still) Believe: Leading Biblical Scholars Share Their Stories of Faith and Scholarship, en compagnie d'auteurs que j'apprécie énormément, tels Richard Bauckham, Walter Brueggemann, Ellen Davis, Walter Moberly, Bruce Waltke, etc...
